"In which the EXIT boss and record producer dBridge steps away from miimalist drum’n’bass for a collaboration with UK composer/conductor/producer Willing, best known for her BBC documentary soundtracks. dBridge’s beats here are slowed, glitched two-step, and while there are some emotive chord progressions in Willing’s strings they’re more about texture, with electronic processing and bowing technique blurring together. There is an impressive completeness to it, and it also does an excellent job of steering out of the posh post-Nils Frahm territory that this type of combination tends towards.
